Weanling Halter Class winner, RMQHA
This is a beautiful 5 year old incentive fund mare with a disposition to match her looks. She stands nicely to get on and off, does not need lounging to ride, and has very good ground manners. She rides quietly and has the ability to make a nice show horse if given the opportunity under a professional trainer.
Ruby clips easily, doesn't mind the vaccuum, bathes, is easy to catch, and she is nice for the farrier. She is gentle and easy to handle. Her pedigree would make her an excellent brood mare. She was a futurity winner as a weanling, and placed 6th in the Golden Opportunity Futurity (out of 13). She also won the Rocky Mountain Breeder's Futurity as a weanling. Ruby was Reserve Grand Champion at a large state wide open show in 2003.
I have had my 4-H kids riding Ruby out in our large pasture and she has been a doll with them. She has gathered cattle and also has been on numerous trail rides.
